Getting Hitched
So, as promised, here's my post about the wedding. Me and Curtis got married on September 17th of this year. Well, technically, in the eyes of the government, we got married some time when in August when we went to City Hall (We found out my brother's five minute internet ordainment was apparently not legal in our province. Go figure). It was a lot of fun even though it rained during our super short ceremony. Which was eight minutes. Several people timed it, so we know. I was

Goodbye Amsterdam
Hello! Sorry for the absence of late. Those of you who subscribe to the newsletter will already know this, but I got married earlier this month and have been on my honeymoon ever since. As I type this I'm technically still on my honeymoon, but we're flying out tomorrow morning so it kind of feels like it's already over. I'll probably do a whole blog post about the wedding, most likely after I get the pictures from our photographer, but that won't be until later. But because I
Welcome 2016!
Yeah, I know, I'm a few days late with this. I figure I'll start this off by saying that 2015 was an absolutely amazing year for me. I got a new job (my first one that's permanent as a opposed to a contract, yay!), got engaged, won SYTYCW 2015, went on a safari to Namibia, and welcomed our new niece Riley to the world. Wedding Dress
So I've officially gotten my wedding dress. It's a weird feeling and has really brought home the fact that I'm getting married. I mean, I'm wearing my ring and all that, but having a dress make it real, the venues I'm looking at aren't for any other event. They're for our wedding. I am super excited about it though! Me, my sister, and my mom went up to Toronto to the Kleinfelds there (we have watched way too much Say Yes To The Dress which prompted the visit) and it was prett

Mother-Daughter Safari
So I'm finally writing a post about my recent trip to Namibia. It was a mother-daugther trip with five of us: my mom, my sister, my mom's friend Gayle, her daughter Taryn, and me. It was a once in a lifetime experience and something I'll never forget! We had an amazing guide named Derek from Blue Crane Safaris who took care of us every step of the way. He put up with our insanity and the reputation we earned at every lodge we stayed at, most learning within the first few hour
